The short version
- There are no user accounts, no newsletter and no comments. We don't ask for your name or email address.
- We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to serve pages quickly and protect the site.
- Some pages may show Google AdSense ads.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location (country or city level, derived from your IP address), device and browser. It sets cookies to recognise repeat visits. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the site. Google's own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Hosting and delivery
Pages, images and files are delivered through Cloudflare (including Cloudflare R2 for images). Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the site. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Ads
If ads are shown, Google may use cookies to show and measure them. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Your settings on this device
The °C / °F choice is stored only in your browser (local storage) and is never sent to us.
Reports you send
If you use "Report outdated info", we receive the page address and what you type. Please don't include personal details.
Outbound links
When you click a link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies.
